I´m not a hat person, or so I thought. Yesterday I bought my very first hat, and it´s a bowler hat! This trend ambushed me, and I am bitten! Are you?

I love, love, love Olivia Palermos style and her boyfriend is absolutely living up to the standards! 

Learning to love

Some trends I need to learn how to love. Every season there´s always that one thing I´m just not that excited about. I admit it, it took me some time to love tights, and I hate UGGs at first. Now I can´t live without it! This season is the same, of course. I struggle to love the harem pants and the belly bags. But the biggest issue I have with a trend are the wooden clogs! I doubt that I will ever learn to love them.

Sarah Burton is the new creative director at McQueen

Sarah Burton has been Alexander McQueens right hand for years, and now she is taking over the clothing line, according to the Gucci Group, who owns the label.

She has been designing the ladies line since 2000 and was working closely with McQueen up until he committed suicide.

“The creation of modern, beautifully-crafted clothes was at the heart of Lee’s vision. I intend to stay true to his legacy,” Burton said today.

Jean-Paul Gaultier is leaving Hermés

For the last seven years Jean-Paul Gaultier has been artistic director for Hermés for the last seven years. He has recently announced that he is quitting to focus on his own projects. Gaultier will be replaced by Christophe Lemaire who has been designing for Lacoste.

A single man

"A Single Man" by Tom Ford is the most beautiful film I have ever seen, in every way! The story is fantastic, the clothing is amazing and Colin Firth is perfect. Simply perfect.

Roger Viver was no less than a genius. He is most famous for inventing the stiletto heel, and we thank him daily. His shoes have been known as "the Fabergè of footwear" and looking at his design you can see why! He has designed shoes for many celebrities, the most important may have been the shoes for Queen Elizabeth II on her coronation day.

I have totally fallen in love with these unicorn shoes. I love it when haute couture suddenly is wearable. Well, if you´re brave, that is!
